BEFORE AND AFTER YOUR TATTOO REMOVAL SERVICE

The body area that is to be lasered must be clean, dry and shaved prior to treatment. 

This includes no lotions, perfumes, make up, deodorant, self-tanners etc. 

If you are having eyebrows lasered, you do not need to shave.

The area of skin to be lasered must

have no direct sun exposure including sunbeds for 6 weeks prior to all treatments.

You may take pain relief such as Paracetamol before your treatment. Taking Aspirin or Nurofen before is not recommended as this can cause more bruising and can increase risks of adverse reactions.

The lasered area of skin and surrounding area may appear red and swollen however this should subside after 2-3 hours.

Aloe Vera is recommended to help cool down and soothe the lasered area.

Cool packs can be used to help cool and soothe the lasered area and they should be wrapped in clingfilm. 

Do not burst blisters, scratch or rub the lasered area as this may cause infection and will delay the healing process and could cause scarring.

No direct sun exposure or sunbed use throughout the duration of the treatment is recommended, this reduces the risk of scarring, hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation.

It is recommended that you do not use fake tan, perfume, soaps or creams over the lasered area until the skin has healed.
